A Guided Meditation for Compassion

Not everyone in the world understands compassion. In fact, most of us would be happy to find just a few people everyday experiencing and demonstrating compassion. Even though we don’t see it as much as we would like, this One Compassionate Mind exists in everyone. It is only with compassion we can see it in each other.

The word Namaste that we say at the end of Yoga Class is very much a symbol of this acknowledgement. “Spirit in Me honors the Spirit in You!”

In this honoring we ourselves, perhaps, at a time when we didn’t understand compassion. We see ourselves coming to the end of our own unhealthy ego and finding the one true Spirit within that honors all.

This meditation below will help you embrace these concepts. I hope you get the opportunity to listen in a quiet space and practice the exercise at the end of the session.
