The Secret to a Successful Life #Successthinking #InfiniteMind #spiritualadvice #diversity #SOM

Today’s lesson is about how to train your mind to THINK WITH POWER. First, you must understand that power exists in the mind. Proof of this very principle is in people we know who appear to have the power to manifest just about anything in their lives.

To the unwise eye, it would seem that these people are just lucky. But, to the man or woman who has eyes to see truth, we realize that these individuals have learned to use the power of their minds to manifest much good in their lives. Or, maybe, these individuals were given early opportunities to manifest with their minds, so they don’t doubt that they have the power to create empires with their ideas.

This same power in Mind is what we seek to understand, then to train ourselves to have and use!

We watch these motivational speakers with derision, sometimes, the most famous being Tony Robbins. He tells us that we, too, can create power and businesses and prosperity simply by believing in ourselves. We try it. And, then, we see no manifestation. Quickly, we give up; call him a charlatan, and continue to believe that we are simply unlucky individuals, never to have any good in life.

But the truth is that Divine Energy (that energy that is unshaped and formed) exists for ALL OF US and is waiting for EACH PERSON to make the mold for this energy to be pour into, like hot molten iron into ingots. The pig iron is like Divine Energy. The mold is your mind and the belief that you can create good in your life.

If you hold still long enough, this Divine Energy, which is for anyone to use, will fill your mold. If you come to this energy with a thimble, you will get a thimble’s worth of energy. If you come to it with a bathtub, you’ll get a larger amount of energy. This Divine Principle is simply for you to believe and trust that you have the power to shape unused energy into finite substance.

The Divine Principle behind this is Jesus’s teaching: “Ask and it shall be given unto you; knock and the door will be opened.” But you see, most of us sit in the bathtub of our belief, fill it with negativity, hoping for the energy of Good to fill it, when we have already filled our mold with our disparaging thoughts.

We must get out of the tub, to make room for Divine Energy to fill this Mold. And begin believing until we see the evidence appear. If you haven’t seen the evidence of your Mind Treatment, then you haven’t waited long enough.

You can’t plant a tomato seed and dig it up every morning, hoping to find tomatoes on the vine. You sow the seed (the thought) into the ground (your mind, the creative space that exists in each of our minds); then, the hard part, Divine Energy does its work.

That is to say, this creative energy, defining the mold, and believing in your truth are all examples of ACTIVE ENERGY.

We don’t sit in the tub hoping for blessings. We pray, knowing the truth, everyday.

  • We tend to the plant;
  • We water it with our good thoughts;
  • We wait unit roots unfold and the shoots of our thoughts appear above ground.

Even then, we must continue to care for the tender plant until it grows to full fruition; otherwise we will see no fruit.

You must activate Divine Energy for it to work in your favor. Plant the seed. Tend to the seed as it grows. And, eventually, it will bear fruit. It is that simple. It is the Law!

The Power of a Seed

I heard a message recently by Dr. Mitch Johnson, the pastor of Center of Spiritual Living Nashville, in which he explained the nature of a seed. To paraphrase, he suggested that a seed can be from an orange in Florida, and, if you plant it anywhere with the right temperature, it will grow, because by its nature, it is programmed to explode with new life.

A seed is magnificent and magical. Something so tiny can become something so majestic—for instance a Sequoia, one of the largest trees in the world comes from a small seed.

Every year, I save seeds from the last year’s annuals to plant for the next year. I used to take such care in potting and planting each individual seed. Then when the seedlings would grow large enough, I would transplant them into the garden exactly where I wanted them to take root.

Lately, I’ve been scattering the seeds or just throwing them into the air. I am always thrilled with the amount of plants that come up when I copy what nature would innately express: a.) the seeds naturally would come to a head; b.) the wind blows them in all directions; and c.) new plants grow the next year.

I’ve discovered that the power of nature is often much stronger than the power of taking the individual seeds and planting them into small pots. I’m not exactly sure why. It would seem that the more nurtured the seed, the better chance it would have to grow. But year after year, my neighbor and I throw seeds out in the spring. By summer, our gardens are lush with new annuals.

Seeds are generally metaphorically identified as thoughts or ideas. Usually I say with careful nurturing, the thoughts or ideas will take root in your life and express as reality. But I’m wondering now if putting too much effort into ideas and not letting nature or Spirit take your seed to its intended path could be a bit counterintuitive.

My greatest life achievements have happened from a combination of being prepared as the perfect opportunity expressed itself. The times I have labored over decisions and ideas, wondering exactly how and when I should proceed, have been times in my life where anxiety has accompanied seed thoughts. In these instances I almost never achieved what I desired.

When we leave God out of the growing experience, whether it be in our vegetable or flower gardens or in the gardens of our lives, we do ourselves a great disservice. Life, by definition, begins and ends with the breath of life God gives. So, to express life in any form, we must have the power of spirit undergirding our ideas and expressions for them to take flight, like fledgling birds innately knowing their path is to fly off into the air with wings God gave them.

There is never a question as to if the birds will fly. The question is always when and with what amount of courage and fortitude it will take to make that first thrust into the wind. Sometimes they need a push. Sometimes they gently fly out of the nest.

Let your ideas flow from you today. But give Spirit time to nurture the innate desires inside and feed them with knowledge. You will know when it is time and when you are strong enough to spread your wings and fly.

Unborn Possibilities Within Each of Us

A dear friend gave me some seeds last year that she asked me to immediately place in the freezer. She told me in February that she would provide me with direction so that the seeds would be viable for the coming year. The seeds were tiny, but as I could see from the pictures of the beautiful, large Delphinium, they were going to be amazing.

About a week ago, my friend texted me with the next directions to the seeds. I had to get an organic seed starter, take the seeds from the freezer and plant the seeds in plastic bags in the organic seed starter with a modicum of water and leave them in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. After this two-week period, the seeds would start to form small seedlings, which I will transplant into pots—from there, nurture them into fully-grown, blue Delphinium.

I’m looking forward to seeing the flowers spread around my garden with the other 200 or so varieties of other plants. I’m sure they will be stunning, and I’m sure they will grow. Because I have grown hundreds of seeds in my life, I have absolute faith in the process of a seed growing, just like I have faith in the idea that there are unborn or unnurtured seeds within each of us that need some time to be caressed and held and loved to be led to fullness.

What is repressed in the shadows of your mind and heart that needs nurturing to find fullness? That’s the question I want you to ask yourself tonight. Don’t try to dig into your subconscious. Just ask God to shed some light on what you might be missing in your life. What are you on this planet for? What is the bigger picture you might be missing? Then let yourself dream.

When you find some seeds of possibility, then it’s time to bring them to the surface and begin to ask the question that my good friend provided me with: How do I nurture these seeds to create a crop or plants for the coming seasons of my life?

Then you wait for that person or guide to come into your life with the wisdom to lead you forward. That guide can also help you nurture your blessing once it manifests or he/she can lead you to someone more capable to take you further forward toward manifesting your dreams.

In all of us there is vast possibility for more and more than what we ever expect from ourselves. I believe we sit on our laurels and wait for life, instead of leaning into life. We have to unfold from within complacency, especially as the universe nears its maturity. The time is now for all of us to be creating. We are creators, made in the image of God. We sit on this power as if we do not know who we are. It’s time to wake up.
